Bu küçük surede en fazla kullanılan harf elif harfidir ve 10 defa kullanılmıştır.

Her ayetin sonu R (Ra) harfi ile biter. Ra harfi Arap alfabesinde 10. harftir. Kur’an’da Ra harfi ile biten 10 sure vardır:

Kevser Suresi’nde geçen “wanhar” kelimesi (kurban kes) anlamına gelir. Kurban Bayramı, Zilhicce ayının 10. günüdür. Kur’an-ı Kerim, küçük bir suresinde bile böyle bir düzen ve tertip oluşturuyorsa, Cenâb-ı Hak bu kâinatı ve evreni bir düzen içinde yaratmış olamaz mı?

The Secret of the Number 10 in Surah Al-Kawthar

Surah Al-Kawthar contains 10 words.

Each verse contains 10 different letters.

The number of letters that appear only once in this Surah is also 10.

In this short Surah, the most frequently used letter is Alif, which appears 10 times.

Each verse ends with the letter R (Ra). Ra is the 10th letter of the Arabic alphabet. There are 10 Surahs in the Qur’an that end with the Ra letter:

Al-Ma’idah

Al-Hajj

Luqman

Fatir

Ash-Shura

Al-Qamar

Al-Mumtahina

Nuh

Al-Asr

Al-Kawthar

The word “wanhar” in Surah Al-Kawthar means “sacrifice (slaughter).” Eid al-Adha (the Festival of Sacrifice) falls on the 10th day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah. If the Qur’an establishes such order and arrangement even in a short Surah, can we not see that Allah created this universe and all existence in a perfect order?
